Auto-Pilot Mode

Do you ever at the end of your day wonder how you got there?? You get stuck in a daze of repetition, that you go into auto-pilot mode. I feel like I was there for the past 2 days. This morning Ava (2) and Hayven (1) were being so sweet to each other, giving morning kisses and long hugs. Hayven's kisses induced Ava to say "ewww...swobber yuck!!" (slobber) My sweet Hayven when she kisses, her mouth opens wide, she sticks her tongue out like one would do when eating one of those large rainbow lollipops, and then you guessed it licks you...I blame my 3 year old Boxer "Rocco" for teaching her how to kiss!! I felt like I had my eyes open for the very first time in days. Which leads me to wonder what other of life's precious moments have past unseen due to my automated blindfold. Although I did get to experience this morning with a fresh perspective. I wonder what I've missed. Don't get stuck in auto-pilot mode, you might miss something spectacular...like I almost did this morning, unless you're cleaning or doing laundry. (haha)

The Start of Our Story...

Here is the beginning to a new adventure I am starting. I am so excited!! This will give me the means to communicate to others, the things I have wished to know. I am also wanting to document our life, to look back on and laugh, cry, or find inspiration. This will sound kind of silly, but I wanted a reason to HAVE to be crafty. As a "Stay at Home Mom", you never allow yourself the time to do things for yourself, so I'm make it more of a requirement. (insert sinister laugh)  We have family and friends all around the U.S. and Canada, this will be a way for them to feel and be more connected to our journey. I love being creative, decorating, DIY projects, cooking and baking, giving and receiving advice, learning and teaching, inspiring and being inspired, organization, and most of all fun filled adventures with my family and friends.
